i almost wrote a good review, but i just couldn’t. the tv was so far away, i needed binoculars to see it, and the bathroom screamed 'dinosaur' with its age. also, not a single complimentary drink? pretty disappointing hospitality for such an expensive stay. seriously, do they even care about guest comfort here?

Achill Cliff House is a perfect base for relaxing while soaking in stunning views of the Minaun Cliffs. The seafood chowder blew us away – fresh and delicious! Plus, it was great having our large breed dog with us, as they welcomed pets.
In my wife’s opinion, a playground nearby would be great.

I recently stayed at Achill for a business trip, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The room was exceptionally clean, equipped with ample amenities like a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The evening meal featured outstanding dishes with fresh local seafood, particularly the Seafood Chowder, which was deliciously creamy and hearty. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection, including fruits, yogurt, and a Full Irish that was served piping hot. The staff was welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.

Had a lovely one-night stay in a double room with stunning views of the cliffs! The beach access was great for a relaxing evening stroll, and I enjoyed unwinding in the sauna after a long day. I would have preferred a walk-in shower instead of a bath, but that's just me being picky! Definitely plan to enjoy the breakfast. it's a must! 😊
